If you’re in Eilat (Israel) and looking to head over the border on a day tour to Petra, it’s way easier than you might have expected!
To say that Petra is awe-inspiring would be something of a gross understatement; our first experience of seeing this stunning ancient city blew us away, and will likely do the same to you!
Apart from the magnificent architecture that has survived the ravages of time, visitors to Petra are often struck by the ingenuity of the ancient civilizations that lived there all those centuries ago.
So yes, if you’re looking to take a Petra day tour from Eilat, we can highly recommend it!
Can I really see Petra in just one day?
Yes! It’s going to be an early start, but then you probably knew that already…the early start (you’ll be picked up from your Eilat hotel/hostel at around 06:30 – 07:15) ensures you get to spend as much time as possible to tour the wonders of this stunning ancient city!
Our Petra day tour heads out from Eilat at around 07:15 and then to Petra once crossing the border. Arrival at Petra should be around 10:30 am.
Our guided tour lets you experience some of the majestic sights of this impressive wonder, before we head back to the main city for a delicious Jordanian late lunch, and then back to the border crossing at Eilat.
