Ryanair are one of the world’s leading and favorite budget airlines, especially in Europe, and in what will be a huge boost for tourism to Jordan, will start a new route to Amman from Paphos in Cyprus in March 2018 for just €19.99.
Even better, they will follow that later in the year (their winter 2018 routes) with 9 new routes to Queen Alia International Airport and four new routes to Aqaba’s King Hussein International Airport.
The routes to Amman include:
- Milan
- Budapest
- Bologna
- Krakow
- Bucharest
- Paphos
- Prague
- Brussels
- Vilnius
- Warsaw.
The routes to Aqaba (starting from October 2018) include:

- Rome
- Cologne
- Sofia
These amazingly cheap flights to Jordan will deliver almost 500,000 Ryanair customers per annum to Amman and Aqaba airports. What with a boom in tourist numbers in 2017 and a record number of British tourists hitting the Jordan tourist path, flights to and from Britain could also soon be on the cards (only British Airways and Royal Jordanian fly direct to Jordan from the UK and return tickets will cost you some 500 pounds).
